Robert Leclerc is a charismatic and amiable top management professional with over 30 years of professional experience spanning multiple roles in engineering, manufacturing, operations and change management.

Throughout his rich career, Robert held leadership roles at GE, Johnson & Johnson and CAE (former Canadian Aviation Electronics Inc.), where he significantly improved several areas under his responsibility. His impact was publicly recognized: In 2000, he won the CEO award in recognition for exceptional contribution to CAE’s new business strategy “Repositioning for Value”. After exceptional results on key performance indicators and further improvements in cycle time in 2002, he won the Canadian Innovation Award for process efficiencies given by Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters. Shortly after, he also became finalist for Canada’s “Top Forty Under Forty” awards.

Today, Robert Leclerc brings his comprehensive hands-on experience to Bombardier Transportation, where he is responsible for the Global Engineering function in the Engineering & Technology Office. In this role, Robert successfully leads several thousand engineers with an engaging leadership style, ensuring operational excellence at all stages.

He graduated from the École Polytechnique de Montréal in Canada with a Master’s degree in Engineering.
