About Project :

The main idea of this project is to produce yawing motion in fighter aircrafts without the use of rudder. This is achieved by the use of yawing wings, which can change their swept angle on the pilots command when it is necessary to yaw the aircraft. In this project, flow simulations are carried out on the selected fighter aircraft models in two methods - one with rudder and other without rudder using Ansys Fluent solver. This project gives a new idea of designing the fighter aircrafts with increased maneuverability using yawing wings.

About Project :

Motorcycles with dual power sources can help reduce the carbon emissions and global warming. This project presents the idea to manufacture hybrid bikes instead of the conventional petrol sourced bikes that can help in reducing carbon emissions. The team modified a Splendor 2003 model manufactured by automobile manufacturer Hero and fitted it with a DC motor that is connected to the main driving chain. The maximum speed obtained by the vehicle while running on batteries is approximately 50 km/hr.

Electricity generation using speed breakers

About Project :

Vehicles like trucks, buses, cars and two wheelers have different weights and whenever they pass over a speed breaker, lots of energy is wasted. This project aims at generating electricity by tapping this energy using the speed breakers. Instead of the regular speed breakers on the roads, the team proposes the use of speed breakers that consists of return spring enclosed within the frictionless sheet. When the vehicles pass by this speed breaker, the energy produced by the vehicles can be converted into electricity that can be stored in the battery and can be converted into A.C. current using the inverter.

About Project :

One of the most basic and powerful tools in all of science and medicine is the light microscope, the fundamental device for laboratory and research purposes. The team proposes a MOBSCOPE a new approach wherein the camera of a mobile phone would be sufficient to study the blood samples and check for the presence of malarial parasites and prediction of the pathogen (Plasmodium ovale/vivax/falciparum/malariae). Being a portable, low cost hand-held device, MOBSCOPE makes it possible for easy detection of malaria right at home. This enables lesser time and energy consuming diagnosis of malaria from home.

More than 1.6 % of people are suffering from some diseases causing them to complete parallelism. The project aims at developing a new method of communication using breath of the person who is suffering parallelism.

About Project :

The objective of this project is to reduce the usage of fossil fuel in vehicles by using alternate sources like compressed air. The air from the tank is given to the solenoid valve which is operated by the timing kit with the help of battery and it is connected to pneumatic cylinders by means of hoses. The cylinder push rod is fitted to chain drive that creates to and fro reciprocating motion and the force from pneumatic cylinders is transmitted to wheels through a chain to drive the vehicle.

About Project :

With the increasing number of vehicles on the India roads, smarter parking and surveillance systems have become very crucial. This project proposes a smart parking and surveillance system that can be used for city-wide surveillance and capture parking information. By implementing this project, the authorities can tighten urban security and alleviate traffic congestion due to parking unavailability.

The system consists of Raspberry Pi 3B+ sensor nodes, capable of setting up an Ad-hoc mesh network using the version 4.0 B.A.T.M.A.N Routing Protocol (Better Approach To Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking).

About Project :

Hi-Tech bionic prosthetic legs are cost effective, precise and robust powered (bionic) legs designed for use by trans-femoral (above knee) amputees. The originality of the project lies in the techniques used by the team in obtaining the required inputs by two methods, one by placing surface EMG electrodes on the residual limb (femur) and second by placing sensors like IMUs, Load Cells, Piezos and Rotatory Potentiometer etc.

QBCD aims to identify children with learning disorders such as dyslexia/dyspraxia at an early stage based on their daily progress analysis. QBCD is an electronic educational tool that can be a better alternative to the old teaching methodology and will make learning more interactive, fun and pleasurable. It not only makes learning fun, interactive and pleasurable, but also helps in improving the motor skills, eye-hand coordination and the memory of the child.

About Project :

Advanced prosthetic hand for handicapped people by interfacing muscle sensor and digital signal processing helps people with amputated limbs become as independent as possible. This advanced arm allows them to complete their routines such as clothing and feeding on their own. The prosthetic arm is limited in lifting weight and other works such as typing which may be daily income source for their family. The arm can be configured for any individual by adjusting the sensor to the skin impedance of the user.
