About Project :

This bike is totally powered by electrical components. It consists of a controller to control the batteries, motors, throttle and some electrical components. Here the Lithium Ion batteries (48v) are used. There is a BLDC motor fixed in the rear wheel which was 48v and 500W. The feedback is taken from the wheels and continuously power will be generated and stored to the batteries so, that we can cross up to the limits. It reduce the air pollution and tends to aid to the development of a green city. This is a cost-effective way of production with the power being generated from the front hub wheel. The loading capacity of the is up to to 230kg where by it can improve the loading capacity and the speed depends on their sources .At the speed of 30kmph it generates 25.2V . If we can use the separate alternator to increase the volt up, it will be a noise less and comfortable smooth drive.

Nano Satellite

 

About Project :

RVSAT-1, first nanosatellite by Team Antariksh, a student nanosatellite building team of R V College of Engineering, Bengaluru, India. RVSAT-1 incorporates an Astrobiological payload that carries M-Smithi, a bacterium that resides in human gut and aims at studying its metabolism in LEO. The deviation of obtained results from that of a similar experiment conducted on earth will enable us to understand the behaviour of the bacteria in radiation environment and thereby its impacts on humans.

Traditional satellites costs over 100 crores and weighs over 500kg which gives a hefty launch cost and adds up to the mission cost. Satellites weighing in the range of 1kg-10kg of are termed as nanosatellites and are the most feasible in economic aspects. Nanosatellite is the trending aspect in space technology. We, at Team Antariksh are designing an entire nanosatellite comprising of seven subsystems.

Exceeding 60 years of space activities, over 4800 launches and more than 6000 satellites, human race has helped give an identity to this pale blue dot in space. Without a strategic plan to reduce the space junk, potential risks of collision with upcoming missions are high. After the successful completion of the Astrobiological mission, it is planned to deorbit RVSAT-1.

We, the representatives of Team Antariksh will be presenting our project at questingenium2018, not as opportunity for our future endeavours, not as a token of our success but as a responsibility of developing a reliable technology for sustainable human space travel.

Water Electricity powered Hybrid Bike

 

About Project :

Hybrid Powered Bike with Energy Saver is a hybrid bike concept where bike will be run based on of water and battery powered. The oxygen and hydrogen gases generated through electrolysis will be used to power the bike piston engine. Another option is to use electric motor to power bike. The proposed solution emphasizes on the use of environment friendly fuel. Implementing this system will enable us to reduce the cost of fuel and also make it less polluting.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM

The major adverse effects of bikes on the environment are air pollution and noise. The exhaust of a bike engine consists of harmful gases like sulphur and nitrogen oxides and also carcinogenic substances like benzene and formaldehyde. These gases lead to several other environmental problems and also have an adverse effect on the human health. Fossil fuels are getting more and more scarce and expensive. A less expensive and environment friendly fuel is the solution to this problem.

Semi Automated Robot

 

About Project :

Now a days, we are facing the problems like environmental pollutions, power cut problem in urban areas for the use of conventional lawn mower. In order to counteract these problems, designed a semi-automated robot that will perform its functions without causing any of these problems. Environmental Pollution is the major concern with the conventional gas powered grass cutters. Human effort is another factor that needs to be reduced. In this project, different mechanisms that have been innovated to increase the efficiency of cutter operation are provided.

The project on multi-purpose robot, uses the renewable source of energy for its operation like solar energy. This project aims at developing a portable solar operated robot as there is power shortage. The robot is used for cleaning home, cutting grass detecting obstacle and less usage of power. Robot is controlled by DTMF controller.

The Virtual Control (Meinigar) for automated Machineries

 

About Project :

The world has completely been automated. Machines are ruling the world. These days even though machines are more accurate than men, there are some problems that occur in the machine which a human should deal with. Mostly, everywhere imported machines are used. Though these machines are cost effective and are more accurate, there are some demerits too. The main disadvantage faced by the imported machines is troubleshooting its fault during malfunctioning. During its malfunctioning, OEM suppliers generally tend to undergo a tedious task. The Virtual Control (Meinigar) for automated Machineries will solve this problem. IN order to overcome these difficulties we have developed a solution. That is, the virtual machine that can be operated on the Developer (Machine Manufacturer) side. By connecting the machines on the operated side through the internet, the developer (The one who done the program for that machine) could visualize the fault in the virtual environment and identify the solution for the problem without physical appearance in the site. So we could save the down time and operating cost of the machine.

The basic objective is to create an assistive product that can help us in identifying the needle that goes into our body in many cases such as interventional surgeries, biopsy techniques and anesthesia procedures which will help the surgeons to be more accurate in what they are doing.

SGAS : Smart Gas Alert System

 

About Project :

In today, almost every rural and urban houses have the LPG cylinder in their kitchen. The major issues with these of leakages and gas blast and the major issue whit LPG cylinders is that they do not show the daily consumption of the gas. As per the survey 17 to 18% peoples are dead due to the gas blast per year. These things happens due to the loose gas connections, improper regulator deployment and gas pipe cutting. To overcome this problem we have invented Smart Gas Alert System (SGAS) which provides alerts in case of fire or leakage and also regularly notifies the user about the amount of gas consumption.

Chess Bot

 

About Project :

In this project, an autonomous chess-playing robot has been presented. The robotic system is capable of playing chess game autonomously against a human. The hardware system consists of a camera mounted on the chessboard with a C Clamp support which acts as the primary input sensor node for the robot and a well-organized mechanical system for positioning chess pieces on behalf of the robot. A personal computer is used for implementation of algorithms for the working of the bot using ROS(Robot Operating System). An open-source chess engine (Stockfish) is used as chess brain which plays chess algorithmically on behalf of the robot.

The theme of the project is Self-Supported Knee Physiotherapist. In India, there is deficiency in the number of physiotherapists. The proposed project provides rehabilitation exercises to the knee transplant surgery patients without the support of a physiotherapist. Health care is one of the important area which plays a major role in a nations progress and this project would be a boon.

About Project :

The idea of converting ocean wave energy into useful energy has been around for about a century, the area is still hugely untapped and ready to be explored. The invention described here draws inspiration from various ocean wave energy converters around the globe for example wave dragon, point absorbers with linear generators etc. The design and concept for a wave farm was derived from various systems like solar and wind farms.
